Chongqing, People’s Republic of China: On 25 November 2025, the PIPTA officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Great Road International Consulting Group. The purpose of this MoU is to establish cooperation between the two parties in promoting the intellectual property sector between China and Cambodia.

Through this MoU, both parties commit to strengthening collaboration in several key areas, including cross-border intellectual property protection, the establishment of a joint commercial platform, and the provision of innovation consulting services for enterprises. The cooperation aims to jointly promote the enhancement of IP value for Chinese and Cambodian enterprises within the regional market. During the signing ceremony, Mr. Yang Ruonan, Executive Chairperson, represented Great Road International Consulting Group in signing the cooperation document, with Mrs. Keo Langcheng, President of PIPTA.

On this occasion, the President of PIPTA also introduced the Association’s mission and achievements, highlighting that PIPTA is committed to promoting intellectual property commercialization in Cambodia and disseminating laws, national policies, and relevant legal instruments concerning intellectual property. Mr. Yang Ruonan stated that “this cooperation marks a significant step in expanding our presence in the ASEAN market and in enhancing the effectiveness of our IP-related services in the international marketplace.”

Looking ahead, both parties will continue strengthening cooperation through joint research, project development, and brand promotion initiatives, contributing to the advancement of Cambodia–China collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative framework.
